Pretty good stuff. I think the momentum of the piece kind of stalls around 00:50. The groove action ain’t there. Probably needs either more melody or some more drum stuff, some hi-hats perhaps. Maybe a bit of reverb on those clap sounds as well might add a bit of colour.

Hey Phil, thanks for listening and commenting. I made this track with vocals in mind. For now it remains an instrumental. I’ll definitely work it up another time when vocals are finally layered into the track.
