I have not installed 8.3 myself because of this:

I cannot tell you if this happens on Mac as well, but for me this is a showstopper I am not willing to face, hence I stay on 8.2.
Also there is talk about problems with the automation system, especially trim. Again, I don’t have the nerves to work through this.

Since the DNxHD support has changed I am afraid rolling back to 8.2 could be a problem.
