New MacOS - wait months and upgrade to new Cubase?

Dear Steinberg,

don’t you think it sounds like blackmail from your side? Never developing checked and working version for the new MacOS on time, and saying: “wait, maybe we’ll develop it, or simply upgrade to new Cubase that will be released short”?

How on earth all the other companies are magically able to prepare their products to be compatible for the new MacOS releases? Maybe they are already testing things with alpha and beta releases of the OS?
They must be crazy…

Sorry, just read CLOSED topic on Sonoma (MacOS 14), where I learned just that - I shall wait, and preferably upgrade to Cubase 13.

Hi,

There was an issue with Cubase in Sonoma. The issue was on Apple side and it seems Apple fixed it on the last Beta version. Nothing Steinberg could do with it.

If a new version of the system is released after the latest Cubase update, Steinberg has no under the control, what happens in the new system and how does it affect older Cubase versions.

Steinberg’s statement is here

Please look up the word blackmail. In the meantime I’ll close this.
