Please add one more option here, namely: Deactivate Punch Out on Stop. Thank you.
Yes, please. I just struggled with this before I found this post.
I can’t see the point of wanting to have the punch out still active. To me, at least, this functionality is intended to allow a quick punch in and then go back to normal recording operation. Only now it does not as any subsequent recording will suddenly stop on the punch out point. Quite annoying when you were just about to nail the perfect take. 
Or is there an actual use case for this that I just don’t see?
Absolutely agree. One of the reasons I abandoned using the punch IN/OUT “recording style”.
