New PC=Time to upgrade (optimal installation)

Hi, I have ‘Elements 9.5’ & a trial of ‘Pro 13’ on my current outdated PC. I finally bought a new, more recent PC, and it should be here in a few days. I really want to make it organized and optimal for music production. It’ll have 2 SSD’s. I’m going to buy ‘Artist 13’; so on my new PC; I’m going to install that and not ‘Elements 9.5’ or the ‘Pro 13’ trial. Any tips, or things to look out for when installing would help. I’m trying to do it right. Thanks everyone.

I wouldn’t expect anything unusual, especially with a brand-new PC. Heck, I’m still running on a 2016 i7-6700K. I’ve forced Windows 11 onto it and it’s having no problems at all.

When installing my ‘UR242’ interface, I think I still have the box w/ the included discs. If my new PC has a disc drive should I use the discs, though they were from 10 years ago? or go online and find drivers/installations?.. Also, should I not plug-in & turn-on the interface until after the installation?

No.

Yes.

Yes.

Okay, sounds good… Thanks
