Maybe More is not the choice for everyone but Recent doesn’t seem relevant to Open by default.
We could have a new section “New” with Recording, Scoring etc and replace those with categories such as MIDI, Music XML, Archive etc
Any takers?
I’m fine with the way it is now but… it couldn’t hurt if a user could change these names to be whatever they wanted.

Each area brings up templates for the specific type of “Production” but these tempates can easily be removed, with the main areas, i.e. Recording, Scoring, Production and Mastering still available.
When you select New Project from the File menu, you get Recent which is rather odd and shows little thought.
If the areas or rather the Categories were more file type centric, I believe we would have an opportunity for more File functions from within the Project Manager itself or the Hub but as I say a .dll for a File manager and a Project Manager that doesn’t reflect well known functions seems not only half-baked but also poorly implemented.
This of course is not to mention the lack of functions in the so-called Project Manager such as being able to delete file references with a single keystroke or creating a new project (note the Empty button, an obvious afterthought).
