Is it possible to set a particular template to use whenever New Project is selected?
Hi @hmbhuss1,
Welcome to the Cubasis forum🙂
This is something I have done for my self and I use it regularly.
I start a new project and title it PITCH BEND TEMPLATE.
I double tap the empty Midi track, tap the Velocity lane below this track and select PITCH BEND, I then added all the time saving features I regularly use, in my case I have a series of different one and two semitone pitch bends of varying speeds bending both up and down, this saves me so much time, any of this data can be copied and pasted to any track that requires pitch bends, using the PB zero events (marked on my photo) to cancel any notes following a pitch bend by placing them directly at the start of the next note.
Once I start building my project, I move this short Midi track at the right of the project so as not to influence any Midi notes.
I then open Media, tap on my PITCH BEND TEMPLATE project to highlight it and select Duplicate, making sure to turn on Open Duplicate Project, then rename the duplicated project as required.
Next time I start a new project I just open Media/PITCH BEND TEMPLATE and immediately duplicate it and rename the duplicate version. Be sure to duplicate the template project to protect your data for any new projects.
Hope this helps,
Mike
