New Sound Card-no playback sound on Dorico 6 Pro

Well, I did it today! New Sound Blaster sound card installed into my Windows 11 Desktop. I have playback sound on YouTube just fine, but when I went to Finale & Dorico 6 no sound coming out of my Bose computer speaker. I can hear a little sound coming from my mini-tower Dell’s speaker. Nothing out of the Bose speakers. Old sound card was motherboard-based.

I am assuming it has to be in the setting of Dorico. I am running the latest Sound Blaster Audigy Fx driver I could find from their download site.

If you haven’t already, trying going to Edit->Device Setup and ensure that the new sound card is the selected device. Select Device Control Panel and be sure that you have the desired output device(s) selected. Close Dorico and reopen.

Kasky, that fixed it! My new sound card wasn’t selected. I’ll worry about Finale, tomorrow. Probably a similar issue with my set in Finale.
