New start, new problems
Midi slider only sends the volume to Halion when I move it myself. Nothing happens during operation for Part 1 (100) and Part 2 (80).
I don’t expect an answer, it’s just a new observation. I’m using the latest official release vst2.
VST2 is very old. Use VST3!
You didn’t mention the version of VST Live. Do you have latest version installed? 2.2.71 for the third week of October 2025.
I suggest you loaded Halion into MIDI track as target and don’t use Layers and want that MIDI slider reacts to part change? Did it worked that way in previous versions?

I meant: I’m using the latest official release vstl2. 2.2.60
It seems to be a setting in Preferences, but I have asked several times whether it would not be possible to update the user manual for Preferences with very detailed explanations and examples (1 document). There is also no option to save your preferences, which is important when migrating.
I have now activated a few things in Preferences (Midi), and it seems to be working again. However, I cannot say why.
