I think there should be a decent stock filter plugin. Single or Dual LP/BP/HP sweep-able filter with LFO’s and the like. A bit Like Auto filter in Ableton and Logic. There’s one in every daw except Cubase it seems.
Personally, I think the stock filter plugins are a little underwhelming for modern music (not the Pre Channel Strip Filters). I Usually revert to a 3rd party or Frequency.
In Cubase 5 there was a effect called tonic. Which got canned along with Quadrafuzz 1 (amongst others). Which seemed like exactly what would be what would be suitable.
Is there anything in the future going to be considered?
Surely using the code from existing plugins (retrolouge and Halion) could be possible?
