New to Cubase / Couple of questions

This is my first post here, so let me start by saying ’ hello’ to everyone:
Hello, everyone!

I havent seen Cubase since, v2, or v3, I think, so it’s been while and I think I might need to brush up on a couple of things…
I’m getting around pretty well, but last night I’ve been searching for info on a couple of things and I havent been able to find anything that got me any further.

  • In the mixer window, how do I keep the input and output channels in view?
  • I’m trying to figure out the Control Room, but I cant seem to find how to setup my room/monitoring correction plugins.

Anyone who can shed some light on either of these things?

Cheers!
Demious

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Switch the Visibility tab over to Zones (at the bottom of the Visibility tab). Then you can place your Inputs/Outputs to the Left or Right Zone. Be aware, the Left and Right Zones are not scrollable.

Enable the Control Room in the Audio Connections > Control Room. Add a Monitor Bus and set the wanted Audio Port. In the Control Room window (or panel in the Right Zone of the Project- or MixConsole window), make sure, Inserts are selected at the bottom of the tab. Then you can click to the Insert slot the same way, as you can do in the Inspector or Channel Setting Window, and add the wanted plug-in to the Monitor bus.

Thank you very much!
