New tracks add to all track/mix visibility states

Is there any way yet to disable this behavior? Having all new tracks get added to ALL visibility states means I have to go through and fix all my visibility states EVERY time I add a new track.

I have like 8-9 states per session so this is really really annoying.

Is there a preference I’m missing somewhere?

You’re not missing anything. It isn’t there. Many users have complained about it already (see the feature request forum). Hopefully this will be adressed anytime soon.
