It would be really nice to have visual events for song parts within the timeline in the Tracks view, similar to the Arranger Track in Cubase. These events should be editable, so part triggers can be adjusted directly on the timeline.
Also, a global view/mode where you can see the entire setlist’s songs, start and end markers for each song, parts, layers, stacks, etc. would be very helpful for getting a clear overview of the project and quickly checking if everything looks alright.
I was never aware of the song track, that’s brilliant, thank you!
But I also suggested a project-level global mode that shows all songs, layers, stacks, etc… in a single consolidated mode for each view. It’s an overview for the whole project rather than for each individual song.
For example, the tracks timeline would display all the songs with their tracks and events in a single continuous timeline, while showing song events at the top, similar to an Arranger track in Cubase. Layers and stacks would also be listed in one unified view, while showing which song and part each one is used in.
This global mode can be toggled and would allow you to edit and manage the entire project, rather than one song at a time.
