Newbie drum prog question

Am considering cubase because I need more serious programming than is available on protools.

I use superior drummer 3. I know cubase has the drum grid editor, and that I can name the keys. Love that.

But I’m still not clear on the following: I’d like to have patterns and song mode. And some sort of delete key to wipe out mistakes when they loop around.

Basically emulate a drum machine.

Is groove agent capable of this?

Thanks
Berg

Yes Groove Agent is more than capable! It will also allow you to create drum maps from instrument, if you’re using GA, which means you wont have have to name the notes in drum editor again to match GA. The full version of GA also has a sequencer built in, if you need it.

Groove Agent 5 is more and is like a beast in Pattern and Creative drums programming and playing.
