Sorry for my second noob question but I can’t seem to find stuff I need in the documentation (yeah, I RTFM). I have a great test project for WaveLab Pro 10 that has a nice bass part that was mixed way too low. I can see it in the spectrum 3-D analysis and hear it as well, but it is barely audible. Is there a simple way to boost frequencies from, say, 40-155 Hz?
It’s also light from 3 kHz up but I assume a similar solution would work for that as well.
Thank you! Your post did the trick. I’ve been playing with the different frequencies but your suggestion was a great starting point. I’m also getting a good feel for what can and cannot be salvaged in mastering. The guitar is too loud and intrudes on the bass so much it’s hard to boost the bass without getting way too much guitar.
