I am the one who learns Halion scripting after programming in Kontakt. And so far I can’t find any suitable visualization in Halion to see, which layer and zone are currently playing? In Mapping tab there is only velocity meter and that’s it. I can’t double-check if my script plays back correctly the necessary layers and zones. Or another issue - I can’t quickly find one of playing zones and open it in Sample tab. So any advice would be helpful on how you navigate across hundreds of layers and thousands of zones.
If you enable midi mapping then the played zones should be selected in program tree. Not 100% sure if it also works with the script or only relates to mapping editor. Try it.
Somehow if Select Zones depending on Velocity is enabled Mapping Editor doesn’t follow the pressed key. If Select Zones depending on Velocity is switch off the whole stack of zones belonging to a certain note is lit up.
