hello, thanks in advance for the help i hope to receive.
I am looking at buying a CI2 interface. The current owner has of course registered the software.
He is under the impression it can’t be transferred. I just want to be certain about it before I fork over the money.

I guess my next question is can the interface be used without the Cubase AI ?

the software license can be transferred, and the CI2 can be used also without Cubase, whereas the AI knob may not be functional outside Cubase.

would I need the ilock or will this be just re registering the product ?
Would current owner have to DE-register ?
Sorry so many questions just can’t afford a new in the box setup at this time.
