NI VC Sidechaining in Cubase 6.5 (and any non VST3)

Hi again! I have just one question and when I try to google it I only find the nice explanations for VST3.

Native Instruments just updated the VC compressors and Transient Master and they now come as standalone plugins. Non of these plugins have the nice “sidechain” button on top but they are supposed to have sidechain.

How does one do this “non VST3” sidechaining?

Thank you.

I’ve personally always stuck with VST3 sidechain (in Cubase and Waves plugins), but I believe what you’re looking for is the “quadro group sidechain” method. If you search for that phrase you’ll find numerous examples for specific plugins.

There may be a better way to do it with current Cubase versions, but I’m not sure.

Thanks you!

It did work very well and even the surround can add more flexibility, but does every fader in the surround have to be moved? or is there a simpler… Main Audio and Sidechain input?
Just curious sin it did work very well.
