Niente circle off

When I do a hairpin diminuendo to niente I get something that looks like this with the circle in the wrong place. This is true in even new projects.

You’ve got the wrong version of Bravura installed, somehow. Remove the Bravura and Bravura Text fonts you can find on your system (if you’re on Mac, look in both /Library/Fonts in the root of your drive, and in ~/Library/Fonts, i.e. inside your user folder), and then reboot. Finally, run the Dorico 1.0.30 updater again, which should hopefully reinstall the correct fonts for you.
