No audio from RME Fireface UCXii in Cubase 12

Using Cubase 12 and RME Fireface UCXII, and TotalMix
Mac Studio M1 System 14.4

When in Cubase, I’m getting no metering, or no audio when using the Fireface as an output (Stereo Out)

When I choose the Built-In Audio, I get metering and audio.

I apparently have all the boxes ticked correctly in the studio set up, and have gone through this with Stefan at KMR.

Any ideas?

Not sure that your issue is related, as you are using a recent MacOS system instead of Windows based one, but still…

I would check this thread for additional informations about the RME driver/Cubase interaction issue.

Thanks. Seems there’s no a solution to the problem as yet.

What is your driver/TotalMix version ? I ask this, as the 1.251/1.95 ones seem to have solved the issue I had since a big while when launching Cubase. So, who knows ?..

Success! I found this page on the RME site offering Beta testers from 2022. Things started to work when used the installer to remove Driver kit 4.0
