Shutdown Cubase yesterday, started it up today and I have no audio output.
Windows 10, RME Madiface. This problem occurs with both Cubase 13 and Cubase 11.
I’ve had this problem once years ago, but I have long since forgotten the fix.
Got work to do - please help.
Peter
Is this a Cubase issue? If you playback audio, which level meter still shows the signal in Cubase?
How about the meter in TotalMix - anything there?
All meters, but stereo out show audio. but this only appears to happen with some songs not all. I’ve just opened a track and it plays just fine. I’m thinking it may be a Kontak 7 issue.
TotalMix? Where do I find that?
Thanks for responding.
it’s the bundled software to the RME driver that allows you to control all your interface routing :
You should be able to open it from the right of your Windows taskbar.
Oops… been there many times…thank you.
Since I cannot see your project the next step would be: Are these tracks routed to Stereo Out?
Yes, all tracks are routed to stereo out.
So, next step would be to save a copy of the project and then remove all plugins from it.
I’ve opened the track without third party plugins. Yes, then stereo out works.
Well, okay. I guess you know what you have to do now… find the plugin that is causing the issue. Good luck and let us know.
