No Audio using VSTs

I’ve posted this previously on a Cubase board, but can’t seem to
get any resolution.

Basically, I get NO audio - that is no audible sound, when using
a Cubase track with ANY of my VSTs. When I hook-up a track
to a VST, I DO see level indicator flickering when I press a controller
keyboard key, and also when I click a virtual keyboard on screen.
BUT I CAN’T HEAR A THING !

Strangely, when I use another track connected to my hardware
synth (a Roland 3080) I DO indeed get audible sound.
And All other audio on my system is working fine… Windows sounds,
streaming, YouTube, whatever… So it’s not an audio issue

But the problem seems to be software related and strickly
related to using VSTs.

H E L P !!! I’VE BEEN AT THIS FOR OVER A WEEK !!

New info on this post…

I tried opening the Media Bay… tested some sound (.wav files)
and cannot hear those either. So it’s not strickly VST-related.

But I still can’t figure how I AM getting sound from a track
hooked to my hardware synth.

At this point I’m thinking of UNinstalling Cubase and REinstalling.
Don’t know what else to do…
BUT - Please help… Would this present other issues?
like, would I have to re-install all my VSTs?
Or- What should I look out for before doing an Uninstall/Reinstall ?

Hit F4, open the control room tab and turn it off (blue lit button)
