Why Cubase didn’t make a back ups from 21:42 to 1:40 am???
I lost 50% of the work I did
is this a kind of bug?
Probably it fell asleep…
To me it is…
The Cubase “Auto Backup” function always had an issue doing automatic backups during playback which, most likely, users do a lot of during heavy editing. I noticed that the auto backup time seems to reset to whatever it is set to in preferences if a scheduled backup happens to coincide with a playback. The only way to get around this is to get into the habit of doing a save function yourself instead of solely relying on the auto backup function.
Maybe someone can comment on this…
This behavior may have been fixed in newer versions (CB 10 or above). I don’t know because I manually save so often that I haven’t noticed.
