I am trying to install a UR22mkII, but am stuck on an idiotic snag: the installation requires a CD-drive. I don’t have one. I have dowloaded and installed the latest driver and firmware, and connected the device, but I can’t find a download link to the TOOLS software.
Where are they??
As far as I know there are no Tools for this interface.
You have installed everything you need.
Says in the manual that I should install the CD labelled TOOLS etc.
Seriously, this is 2016, many folks don’t have a CD drive!
You can buy a very good external one for less than 30 bucks.
I have one. It’s at work.

Of course you can download all of the TOOLS and drivers for our hardware products from our website.
Please go to support/donwloads and choose your product from the list.
For the UR22mkII there is no TOOLS required. You just need to install the Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver.
Maybe it might be necessasy to update your firmware version as well.
