When using the Tempo Track Editor in Cubase 9.5, drawing in tempo changes does not show current tempo of point in realtime. You have to roughly guess, then type in desired tempo to get it exact.
had this problem, too, but only with a project created in 9.03

You can see it in the Info Line. You are right, the tooltip doesn’t update.
