After installing Cubase Artist 9 there is no ducumentation in the menu. There used to be a link to the user manual. There is a Help menu, but clicking on Cubase help opens an external text editor (notepad++) and no browser or help section. Also all the menu items in the Hub menu and sub-menus open notepad++, except for Open hub, which opens the hub.
Problem solved. I had set the file extensions .html and .htm to open in notepad++. After changing this to Firefox and a restart, the Cubase menu’s leading to web pages open the according web pages. I also found the documentation page at https://www.steinberg.help/ where you can download the pdf manuals. They are no longer directly accessible via the help menu but that is no problem now I got them on my hd. Hope this helps others with the same problem.
