I installed Cubase 7 on my laptop yesterday with the bright idea that I could mix at home away from the studio. Problem is that it’s not recognizing any audio interface. In Device Setup the only option in the drop down menu is “No Driver”, and the only option in VST Connections is “No Connections”.
When I use Reason I’m able to choose between the ASIO4All Driver, the DX Primary Sound Driver, MME Speakers and Headphones… basically a lot of options. No such luck in Cubase.
I’m on a Windows 7 64-bit machine; it has an IDT High Definition Audio Codec sound driver, which is up to date.
Any ideas? Am I missing something incredibly basic?
