Hi there, I am using Cubase 11 artist sinds half a year now but I still cannot hear the effects I put on my audio track while I’m playing guitar or sing. I only hear the effects when I play back. My direct monitoring is off and I tried many things but nothing works. When I put direct monitoring on there is no sound, only when I put it off. When I play MIDI I can hear the effects while playing but not when I record an audio track. I use Steinberg 22 c as interface.
I can switch there between direct input or daw but when I switch complete to daw I don’t hear my input anymore. I hope someone has the solution here because it’s not fun playing when you don’t hear the effects

Make sure, the Constrain Delay Compensation button is disabled, please.
If the Audio Device has any kind of Direct/DAW encoder, make sure, the encoder is set completely to DAW.
