No full screen support for Cubase on Mac causes quick key issues

Full Window Support Needed.

Since I am not able to get Cubase into Full Screen I can’t use any of the F1-F12 keys that you all have assigned for quick keys, but since it’s not in Full Screen those keys control my Mac and do things outside my session on my Mac. For example, F4 is Spotlight on a Mac. So if I click F4 for Audio Connections in Cubase 13 Pro my Spotlight search on my Mac will come up since Cubase is not in full-screen mode. That’s a real problem, especially for a newbie like myself. It makes it tremendously hard to navigate around the system, and now I am finding myself trying to reassign all of the F1-F14 buttons which means I am often changing quick keys of other assigned functions which is making it even harder to get a grip on Cubase.

That’s not Cubase’s problem in any way, shape or form.

If you want the F keys to actually be F1-whatever (mine has 19) then you need to go into the System Settings and turn it on in the keyboard options, or just hit the Fn key on your keyboard.

I have Studio One & Logic and have also used other DAWs and never had that issue or had to do that, so it never even occurred to me to do that, but that deff works. Thanks Mono!
