No guitar sound in Cubase 10.5

Hi guys,

I’m new to this forum and to Cubase. I’m coming from Logic but I switched to Cubase because I’m switching to a Windows environment in the future and I wanted to get the hang of it.

For guitar tracking I’m using an IK Multimedia AXE I/O, witch worked fine in Logic (and Reaper) but I can’t get it to work with Cubase. It shows up in the Studio Set Up, and to my knowledge everything looks good. However, Cubase is not recognising the guitar input coming from the interface. I can hear the guitar through my monitors but noting is showing in Cubase.

I added some links to the relevant screens.

Any ideas on what it might be?

I’m not clear on why you have VST system link active. That has something to do with multiple computer setup.
I’m also not sure why you have 32 bit precision in VST Audio System. If you have 64 bit processing and OS, you should probably change that.

The 32bit or 64bit precision has absolutely nothing to do with the OS.

Not sure why you’re using VST System Link or whether this could be the problem as you have it set to use the Audio inputs for data only?
