No HUB update (since V13.0.41)

There is still no solution how to get the HUB updates again.

Neither do the setting in the preferences have any effect at all:

If the HUB is set to OFF, it will change to ON with the next start-up of Nuendo.
It’s annoying if you have to rely on news from different forums/SNS only, instead receiving the latest news via the Steinberg news HUB…
Does anyone know where to search? Win11-Settings? Nuendo13-Settings?

Unfortunately, and by design, it is no longer possible to completely turn the Hub off in N13.

Try disabling Preferences>General> Show News in Hub instead:

OP is not asking how to turn the hub or the news OFF, but how to make them be up-to-date again.

They are indeed outdated for a while now.

That’s true, but disabling annoying info is another option, so to get the latest news from Steinberg (as a customer) should be out of question…

Thanx for the info to remove the annoying HUB

I’m wondering about recent “SW designs”. Not only Steinberg, but also different SW (and different SW companies) do argue the same way, which is not in favour for the customers feature usage.
Unfortunately, the biggest problem is Windows itself. A lot of bugs are counted from user-point of view (including myself in the past) to the SW provider, but the real reason are the bugs inside windows. As an example: Just start-up the PC and Nuendo, load a project, confirm that the playback is working correct.
Leave the system as it is for some hours (~5-8) and play the sound again. Several times a problem does occur and need a re-start of the Windows PC. So, it’s not a problem of Steinberg but a problem of the background operations from Windows, Security-SW, etc.
Anyway back to the topic:
Does Steinberg intend to remove the HUB if it’s not working due to SW design? Or replace it with a working SW design?

Haha, okay, so I’m not the only one who wonders about that.
Luckily, the HUB is not my source for information, but rather forums like this one.
And yes, you can turn it off, but as I said, it doesn’t bother me.
