I add lyrics to midi using the Vocaloid4 Editor for Cubase. In Cubase 13.0.55 the lyrics then appear automatically in the Key Editor and in the Score Editor.
In Cubase 14.0.20 the lyrics appear in the Key Editor but not in the Score Editor and I can’t find any setting to make them appear.
You said that in Cubase 14.0.10, lyrics are now imported from midi files. Is that also true for Cubase 14.0.20?
We had to change the way that lyrics are represented in C14 so that it’s possible to store multiple lines of lyrics and to allow a more flexible relationship between lyrics and notes. In C13 these were stored as properties of the note, but in C14 they are separate events. If you open a C13 project with lyrics in C14 then currently it’s not possible to show the lyrics.
C14.0.20 does import lyrics from MIDI.
