Good morning,
why don’t I get any information in the SDA that there is an update from Spectral Layers 11.0.2 to 11.0.4?
For some reason SpectraLayers does not appear in the update list.
hmmmm…
just follow the links to release notes
The latest version is always “announced” in this forum as well.
Often, the latest release is already in the SDA, you just have to go searching for it.
Hello ctreitzell,
Maybe I expressed myself awkwardly.
You know the column in the SDA UPDATES?
Why doesn’t the current version appear there compared to the installed version?
Just like with Cubase.
Greetings
Oh, I thought you meant Steinberg Download Area (web page)…not the the Steinberg Download Assistant
I avoid the Steinberg Download Assistant for SL because it’s more cumbersome than a direct update…I have CuBase, but haven’t started using it yet…still using my previous DAW of the past 20+ years
I have updated SpectraLayers several times through the SDA, and I never had a problem until the SDA stopped working for me 3/4 weeks ago.
Seems there are issues with the Steinberg Download Assistant (SDA)
my issue with the SDA is that it is another set of hoops to jump thru which may or may not do as the user thinks it is doing. I’d rather be in control and work a little more directly as I have made mistakes with the SDA
