No input Source

Just upgraded to Cubase Pro 15. I have a Steinberg UR22C interface. Updated the drivers. It all appears to working in that I can see signal in the inspector if I highlight an audio track and I can hear the signal in my cans. My problem is that nothing is being recorded.

I open the Channel Setting window by clicking the ‘e’ on the track. I click the left facing arrow (go to input) next to ‘mono in’ and it says ‘no source’. It doesn’t give me any options when I click on it to try to select a source.

Help!! What am I missing?

Gratitude in advance.

Go to menu Studio and there “Audio Connections” → Inputs.
There you can assign a source the the input bus.

I am having the same issue, and already tried exactly what you are suggesting, but I cant get any change.

NVM. FIgured it out

Having a very similar problem here…would you mind please posting how you figured it out? My input is assigned in “audio connections” and showing signal input when I play…but no signal transferred when recording. Please post :folded_hands:

Have you configured a track for recording ? And then selected the input for that track ?

Input channels do not record. You have to route them to the destination audio track

Yes–I’d done that–and the input was routed to another channel (I did know to do that). I had to go back in, delete the input and re-create it in the audio connections–then it worked…not sure why this worked, but glad it worked.

Thanks for your help.
