No input to cubase pro 8 from usb interface

Cubase pro 8 previously working with behringer x 32 with x live sound card. X live is recognized but no audio input to cubase.

Hi,

Make sure Cubase has enabled Mic in the System Preferences, please.
Open macOS System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Microphone. Enable Cubase here.

I’m using mac os 10.13.6 to be more specific.

Sorry, you are tight, this wasn’t the case in macOS 10.13 yet. Am I right, you can see the Audio Device as an ASIO Driver, but there are no Input Device Ports in the Audio Connections > Inputs?
