Hi everybody, just to inform everyone who has Cubase 3 for android. Don’t in any circumstances upgrade to OS 16 for android, as it will prevent cubase3 from uploading to your android device, tablet and mobile phone. You will lose all music and application. You can’t re upload. This of 6th of February 2026. Hopefully, Steinberg will remedy this.

What exactly are you talking about?
I’m on Android 16 (Samsung S9) for some time now and Cubasis 3 and all my files are simply there. There is no problem at all.
Instead of simply saying you will lose everything you should describe what exactly happend to you and what you did.
Samsung S11 (Android 16) .. no problems here..
No problem uploading/downloading to the cloud either.
The only thing that changed with Android 16 is that you dont have read/write permissions (system folder/root folder) with 3rd party apps/extension, which you previously you could with the files app from the playstore. (It was a shortcut to the hidden native filebrowser)
