(NO ISSUE) Some apps that were installed in Cubasis 3.8.2 under Inter-App and AUv3 not installing

All of the Louis Martinez Drummer apps, except for Pop Drummer are nowhere to be found in Inter-App. Meanwhile, ChordPolyPad, an AUv3, is not showing up under Audio Units. All of these are installed on my iPad 8 and have always been included in Cubasis 3. They are installed and can run in standalone mode, but not assignable to tracks in Cubasis 3.

Hi @garyrea66,

Thanks for your message.

Please note that the availability of an IAA depends on the specific app - it may be accessible only on a MIDI track or only on an audio track. Did you try both options?

Regarding ChordPolyPad, please keep in mind that this is an AUv3 MIDI plug-in and must be loaded via the MIDI Effects section.

Please keep me updated.

Best,
Lars

Thanks, Lars. I found out that ChordPolyPad is a MIDI Effect, not an AUv3, so that explains that.

Gary

Hi Gary,

Please note that the AUv3 MIDI plug‑in information was already mentioned in my reply above.

In addition, please check my comments regarding IAA. I’m quite sure you’ll need to verify whether the IAA plug-ins work only on MIDI or on audio tracks in Cubasis - this fully depends on the individual app vendors (and is not a Cubasis issue).

Best,
Lars

True enough. Koala has lost its iia for instance in Apematrix. Others are fine like borderlands. Definitely thing this is related to os upgrades

Missing Koala IAA is not related to iOS updates as IAA support was removed from Koala a few updates back.

Many developers are starting to remove IAA support from their apps as the technology has been deprecated by Apple many years ago and doesn’t get any further fixer or updates.

Personally I hope IAA goes away for good…

good to know. Very knowledgable! The trouble is the lost apps that go with it.
