No license engine available


Out of the blue after several days of using this. Hope a reboot helps.

Reboot to the rescue, but odd. What causes this?

I had the same problem after starting VST Live with no internet connection. When the connection was back the error persisted. After rebooting my mac (Monterey) the error was gone.

What do we do if we loose internet on a live event and need to restart the program ? Perhaps the license should at least last 24 hours after latest connection ?

do you have the exact message as @bullmoon? If yes, we do need the log file from the Activation Manager application. You can find it here.
/Users/YOUR_USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Activation Manager

Note : This has nothing do to with your license. The communication from VL to SAM (Steinberg Activation Manager) is lost and we need to find out why.
