No Menu Bar

I updated from 6 to 7. When I start a new project in 7 there is no Menu Bar at the top of the screen. I have dual monitors and I up dated to 7.01. Osx 10.6.8 any help would be very appreciated thank you.

It’s a known issue; check elsewhere in the forum, under ‘Issues’ somewhere.

Aloha g,

I could not find the actual thread on this topic but the
up-shot is: 10.6 is not supported.

Some 10.6 users have gotten C7 to work but
this is one of the probs that can come up.

Simple solution is to upgrade your OS to either 10.7 or 10.8

BTW
If I find that thread I will post it.

Here it is:

Thank you very much for your time and help!!!

Found a solution for the Cubase 7 menu bar disappearing in Snow Leopard:

If menu bar does not reappear after pointing the mouse to the top of the screen, right-click (as if making a new folder) and nudge the mouse pointer upward. The menu should reappear. If your mouse don’t have a right-click button, press the Control key and click instead.

Hope this helps. I’m still getting my Cubase work done with Snow Leopard. I’m reluctant to upgrade my OS because it’s the last OS X that supports PowerPC programs which I still use.

Nice tip. Thanks for that. (I still have an old G5)
