No message (Missing audio)

Hello everyone,

I have got a weird problem. i have installed a new hard drive and Cubase 8. I was expecting that when i open an existing project, Cubase will give me a message that i have to look for the missing audio files.

The problem is all some of my audio tracks are not there. i can’t see the audio waves and Cubase is not promoting to look for those files.

How can i force Cubase to search for those files?

Please see screenshot.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

How does it look like in the Pool? Could you send a screenshot, please?

Hello Maryin,

I have attatched a screenshot with my previous message.

Omar

Hi Omar,

I’m sorry, I can’t see the attachement. I can see just the one from the Project window.

Martin,

That’s exactly my problem. The blocks you see on the attachment are empty. I can’t see the audio waves and there are no sound at all.

Hi,

I know but I would like to know, wht the Pool window displays. To get some more information about your files. Are they in the project? Are the missing? Are the in the Trash? Is there any other issue? We can see this in the Pool window. This is collection of all Audio/Video files, you are using in the project, and you can see lots of interesting information here. You can open it by pressing Ctrl+P.
