No midi in a kontakt 8 instrument track recording, but sound?

I recorded an instrument track with Kontakt 8 player and Low end modular instrument.
When I play it back it sounds ok, but if I open the key editor I can’t see the recorded midi notes, even after scrolling up and down the editor for the selected event in the Low end modular track ? ???
Very strange. I can’t find my error, this instrument track is built as many other non Kontakt based instrument tracks I recorded and where I can edit the generated midi.
Any idea ?

Can you post a screenshot, please? Much easier this way…

midi problems like this are the worst, you end in forums with posts from 2009 and they’re just not all that applicable.

I would verify that there are no filters. Edit > Preferences > MIDI and verify that there are no filtering options applied to MIDI Notes under the MIDI Filter section.

Other than that, I would just try debugging it by opening up new tracks, swapping it for not a Kontakt instrument, or just charging it to the weird quirks of midi in 2024 interacting with even weirder software.

Solo the track. If you still hear it check the list editor on the event.

If you don’t hear it, maybe post the cpr?

Thank you all for answers.
After restart today, soloing, it appears that no sound comes from this track, in key editor there are no notes…but modulation curve which I was also seing in the track display.
The sound I was hearing yesterday certainly come from a track not muted, even if I was sure to have muted everything ??
May be Cubase 14 was no more healthy, or me  .

It is very strange that midi notes have not been registered when modulation was ??

I will record the track again today.

PS : one question for the ones owning Low End Modular from NI, what is the ‘MIDI channel 0 program 0’ just before the ‘NoDrum map’ input field in track inspector ? When I click it I can select a program in a 128 items list ? Is is related to midi PC allowing to select another preset ???
