No midi or group track pictures on project page

I’m setting up a template and putting track pictures in the mixer on audio midi and group tracks but when I try to make them show in the project window the only pictures that show are the audio tracks.

Is this by design? A bug?

Weird I just made a new project and it works but it won’t work on my template. Maybe because the tracks were in folders on the template???

Added: It’s not working on groups

Does anyone know how to lock in the pictures on the project page so you don’t have to “show track pictures” every time?

Can anyone tell me if midi or group channel pictures show up on the project page after selecting show track pictures?
