No Parameters Available

So I have searched and I can’t find an answer to this.
I decided to go back and do some editing on some songs I composed a year or so ago, since then I have upgraded Kontakt from free player to Kontakt 6.
When I load the song up in Cubase 9.5, all of my Kontakt instruments (chris Hein solo strings, Joshua Bell, Tina Guo Cello) all say “No parameters available” and the sounds are missing.

I’m hoping there is an easy solution to this since I am not very technically intelligent when it comes to this stuff.

I am severely depressed right now seeing this.

Hi,

The plug-in is missing. It seems, you have uninstalled Contact Player. And Kontakt is not a replacement plug-in. It’s just other plug-in, so Cubase cannot remap your Kontakt Player sounds to Kontakt.

Hi John,

It looks like if the missing plugin refers to the Kontakt instruements, then the folder NI KONTAKT 5 update to 5.8.0 FULL VERSION is being moved by you to another drive or location.

Bring that folder back to the original location

The default location would be:
C:\Program Files\ Steinberg\VSTPlugins\Kontakt 5
