No playback Dorico 5, no signal to VST's with correct templates

Hi, I have been using Dorico 5 with Halion and Noteperformer for three year but now I don’t seem to get any sound out of Dorico 5 anymore.

It seems like there is no signal flowing to the mixer when the files is running
Both Halion and Noteperformer don’t seem to get any input (to be triggered) from the score even if the correct playback template is selected
Noteperformer doesn’t recognize selected playback template (screenshot while playing with the Noteperformer Playback Template selected)

I did the whole playback troubleshoot routine suggested by Dorico.

I don’t know if this could be related, but it looks like this issue started when I opened a file that came from a newer version of Dorico. That’s why I installed all the latest updates available for Dorico 5.

Doesn’t fix it. So I already leave this diagnostics file here:

I’m by no means a NotePerformer guru, but shouldn’t opening it up in Play mode with the ‘e’ show the instruments that are loaded? Best bet would be drop the project here (only a few measures needed).

Exactly! That’s also the reason why I uploaded this picture. But after a whole day of updating, troubleshooting I decided to just try one more thing and that is too bluntly plug-in and plug-out a pair of headphones…

As soon as I did this, in the exact same file, the correct instruments got loaded (see picture). I experienced some issues that were related to the connection of headphones before, but never anything that affected the loading of the VST instruments.

So I just wanted to leave this one here in case someone else experiences the same issues. Does someone know what could be the explanation for this?
