no playback / input mix selection on UR44

noob question, I am upgrading from an avid mbox 2 at long last to the UR44.

I plug in all my outboard gear into a patch bay which is normalled to the inputs on the UR44.

i play the keys and drums etc and i can hear everything which is great. However, there is no way to stop monitoring the input and only monitor playback (for instance, I should only hear the drums when the track is armed).

This seems to me a pretty rudimentary feature so im surprised its missing, unless im looking in the wrong place?

The mbox has a knob on the front to toggle the mix between input and playback, so i was expecting to see something like that but no dice… :confused:

It works like that if you use Cubase.

If you are using other DAW, you can keep the input channels muted in UR mix and monitor through your Daw as long as you are ok with the latency you get.

Doing it this way bypasses the hardware near zero monitoring.
