No playback of track during Record

I find I do not hear the track being recorded in my headphones while recording. Any suggestions?

Have you selected the yellow monitor button?

Please, don’t! We all have been there many times :wink:

Also have a look at Edit/Program Setup/VST and the section on Auto Monitoring.

Maybe change the preference to Tapemachine Style which will automatically turn on monitoring while recording.

No worries.
We’ve all been there.
I was sure I was improving a vocal the other day with a compressor I hadn’t even switched on.

…or having the one opened from a different, empty track and wondering how subtle the changes are today when turning the knobs.
