Hello. I just purchased a new macbook pro:
macOS 10.15.7
2GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5
16 GB 3733 MHz LPDDR4X
I installed TOOLS for UR44, and Yamaha USB driver, as well as the most recent firmware update. The device appears in my audio settings as well is in the audio midi setup, however nothing is playing back on it when I select it. For example, I run iZotope RX 8, and select my device as main audio driver. I then import a track and click play, but the playback bar stays in place and sometimes moves forward for a bit a while later, but there is no playback.
Let’s say I set it as my output driver on the mac, and then play a song in spotify, similarly, the song does not playback, and I get a message from Spotify saying “Can’t play current song”
An interesting thing to note, is that when I import a 48 kHz track into RX, I set the format in Audio Midi Setup to 48,000, and as soon as i hit play, it automatically switches to 96000
Keep in mind, I have been using this same device on my PC for years now, and haven’t had this issue. Any help would be much appreciated.
