No resampling for MAC in v12?

So I upgraded to 12 to get the driver not noticing it is windows only, I’m on an M1 MAC, so it still changes the samplerate to match the loaded file on MAC… I use a Steinberg UR which has shocking drivers and the changing samplerate causes it to pause completely for 2-3 seconds when pressing play before it will playback. Am I missing something? I don’t want Wavelab to ever change the samplerate of the sound card, I just want it to play back audio and for Wavelab to resample to the samplerate I chose.

As for the drivers, I’m using the latest Yamaha USB which also completely broke loopback recording.

On the Mac, you need to activate the Resampler plugin in the Master Section, to achieve that. There is no driver solution.
