Is it possible to create a tempo indication of “No ritard”? If I try typing this into the tempo popover Dorico turns it into a ritard (the exact opposite of what I want). On the score, I don’t want to put “No ritard” over the staff of every player in the piece, but I do want that instruction to show up in all the parts.
You’ve got (at least) a couple of choices. If you enter ritard as a tempo indication, you can then edit it in the Properties panel to change the text and set the final tempo to 100% (so that it doesn’t actually change the tempo).
Or you can create it as System Text. This will display the same way that a tempo indication does (over selected staves in the score and in each part).

It sounds like system text is what I’m looking for. I must have come across that while first learning Dorico (a couple months ago), but forgot that it exists. Time to go back to the manual – but now I know where to look in the manual!
