I use Cubase 11 (Elements) which has no Sidechain Compressor, however I’ve noticed the Compressor has the options ‘Activate/De-active Side-Chaining’ when you right click it. Is this a way to use third party Sidechain compressors? I cannot figure out how to sidechain a bassline and kick drum so that the bassline dips in volume when the kick drum plays. Can anyone help? Thanks.
